ENTER Shikari have confirmed details of the band’s third ‘proper’ album, A Flash Flood of Colour, and a spring UK tour.

Enter Shikari 2012 UK tour

March 17: Edinburgh - Corn Exchange

March 18: Hull - University

March 19: Manchester - Apollo

March 20: Wolverhampton - Civic Hall

March 22: Plymoth - Pavilions

The St Albans quartet release the follow-up to Common Dreads on January 9, 2012, and will be supporting the album with a short tour in March.

Co-produced by the band and Dan Weller in Bang Saray, Thailand, and London during May and June, and mixed in Vancouver by Mike Fraser, of AC/DC, Aerosmith, Biffy Clyro and Metallica fame, A Flash Flood of Colour ventures deeper into the diverse sonic universe that Enter Shikari have created for themselves over the course of previous albums, 2007 debut Take To The Skies and Common Dreads in 2009.

Earlier this year, the Hertfordshire group – Rou Reynolds, Rory Clewlow, Chris Batten and Rob Rolfe – also released a DVD/CD package, Live From Planet Earth, featuring footage filmed at their 2010 Christmas gig at the University of Hertfordshire in Hatfield.

Unleashing 11 new tracks that stretch to the furthest extremes of their musical pallet, A Flash Flood of Colour contains recent single Sssnakepit and current live favourite Arguing With Thermometers, which was recently debuted for a BBC Radio 1 session for Zane Lowe, along with nine other tracks.

Special online pre-orders for the album start today (Friday) via the band’s website – click on link above right.

The full tracklisting is:

Following the release of the album, and on the back of Enter Shikari’s currently ongoing, sold out UK autumn tour, the band return to UK stages for a short run of larger shows in support of A Flash Flood of Colour next year.

The six-date March run ends at London’s Hammersmith Apollo.

Special guests for the dates will be rising rock stars Young Guns, who unveil Learn My Lesson, the debut single from their highly-anticipated second album, on Monday, October 17.

Tickets for Enter Shikari’s March tour went on sale today (Friday) from all ticket agents.

Special ticket plus album pre-order bundles are also available from the band’s website.
