Lydia Baylis will play Coffee House Sessions in Hatfield


COFFEE House Sessions return to Hatfield this week with Lydia Baylis playing the EleHouse on The Forum Hertfordshire site.

The Welsh singer/songwriter is set to perform in the EleHouse on Tuesday, October 15 as part of the Huw Stephens curated Coffee House Sessions.

Coffee House Sessions is a new music initiative, exposing the hottest in upcoming UK talent to the student market via daytime performances at universities around the country.

Scheduled for release in early 2014, Lydia’s forthcoming album, A Darker Trace, is a meditation on the darker side of human nature, inspired by the literature of Virginia Woolf and the Bronte sisters, as well as music by artists such as Beth Orton, Joni Mitchell and Florence Welch.

She will be performing tracks at the College Lane venue from 1pm on Tuesday.

Admission is free.
