A NIGHTCLUB in Hatfield is fast becoming a second home for Radio 1 DJs.

Following Nick ‘Grimmy’ Grimshaw’s appearance at Propaganda the other week and scheduled spots by Rock Show host Daniel P Carter at the Alt Night and Reggie Yates at Flirt!, the Forum welcomes fellow Radio 1 DJ Greg James later this month.

The afternoon presenter takes to the decks for the Propaganda indie night at the College Lane venue on Saturday, February 26.

Often hot-footing it straight from his Radio 1 prime-time show, Greg will be criss-crossing the country over the coming weeks to DJ at 12 of Propaganda’s regular club nights.

Ellie Goulding

Having sampled the many musical delights of a Propaganda night out when his girlfriend, Starry Eyed singer Ellie Goulding, was behind the decks for a series of sets at the end of last year, Greg asked if he could join the long list of awesome guest DJs to grace the stage.

He said: “I have played it in the past and it has been my favourite place to play.

“I came along when Ellie played and remembered how good the crowds are and I’m pleased to be doing a mini tour with you lot.”

Previous guests at Propaganda in Hatfield include Radio 1 DJ’s Zane Lowe and Edith Bowman, Gavin and Stacey star Mat Horne, The Inbetweeners’ James ‘Jay’ Buckley and members of Vampire Weekend.

Now the UK’s biggest and best indie night, Propaganda currently attracts more than 20,000 people a week across 17 venues.

Propaganda DJs spin the very best in brand new and classic indie anthems alongside dazzling visuals to crowds of the most up-for-it indie lovers out there.

The University of Hertfordshire’s Propaganda night in Hatfield starts at 9.30pm.

Advance tickets are available from the Propaganda website.
