Violinist Hayley Pomfrett, who grew up in Cuffley and now lives in Hatfield, performs with Adele on BBC One’s exclusive hour-long special hosted by Graham Norton.

In the show, chart-topping Hello singer-songwriter Adele performs classic tracks as well as songs from her new album ‘25’, accompanied by a live band.

It will be Adele’s first television performance since she performed Skyfall at the 85th Academy Awards in February 2013, where she won Best Original Song for the theme tune to the 23rd James Bond film.

Graham Norton said: “This is the music event of the year and I’m thrilled to be part of bringing it to BBC One.

“This opportunity to spend an hour with Adele, her music and her stories is a truly rare treat.

“If I wasn’t hosting this special I’d be sat at home watching it!”

The programme can be seen on BBC One tonight at 10.40pm.

As first violinist in string quartet Heartbeats Strings, former Dame Alice Owen’s School, Potters Bar, pupil Hayley can be seen on daytime TV from Monday.
