A LEADING David Bowie tribute act will pay homage to The Thin White Duke at a St Albans music venue this weekend.

ZIGGY may no longer play guitar, but the ultimate tribute to the influential David Bowie will be taking the stage in St Albans.

Absolute Bowie will play The Horn pub, in Victoria Street, on Saturday night.

Personally endorsed by Woody Woodmansey, the drummer from legendary Bowie band The Spiders from Mars, this tribute covers all periods of the chameleon-like musician’s illustrious career.

Incorporating four costume changes, this energetic show is an A to Z – Absolute Beginners to Ziggy Stardust – of Bowie hits.

So expect classics from Space Oddity and Life on Mars through to Ashes to Ashes and beyond, with a stop off through Station to Station, Bowie’s Golden Years and the Thin White Duke’s subsequent Berlin period.

Tickets cost £10 in advance and £12 on the night.
