Potato Shindig fun at Willows Activity Farm
Children can dig deep and unearth plenty of fun at Willows Activity Farm’s potato patch.
The Willows Potato Patch is ready to be harvested by green-fingered young farmers.
And after all the digging, there’s plenty of tattie-tastic fun to be had at the farm attraction in London Colney.
Visitors can dig up a bag of home-grown Picasso potatoes daily from Saturday, September 10.
‘Spuddy’, the Coursers Road venue’s potato mascot, will be appearing in his special show, and children can find potato-themed arts and crafts to enjoy, using Picasso spuds as their inspiration to create their own masterpiece.
Every child who visits Willows will return home with the bag of potatoes they worked hard to harvest and the Willows potato recipe.
This year’s Tristian the Runaway Tractor themed baked potato is a fun teatime treat to create.
As well as the inspiration for the Willows potato recipe, Tristan the Runaway Tractor is part of the full day programme of outdoor family fun with animal friends to meet, adventure play and fun fair rides.
The day also promises plenty of weather-proof indoor activities throughout the day at Woolly Jumpers Indoor Play Barn, and Cotton-tail Village.
Plus the new Peter Rabbit Adventure Playground is included in Willows’ all-inclusive price.
Daily activities will appeal to all young Beatrix Potter fans, from the Lily Bobtail Nature Discovery for the curious, the Jeremy Fisher Music Pond for the artistic to the Peter Rabbit Secret Treehouse for the playful.
Peter Rabbit and Lily Bobtail will be ready to say hello in meet and greets throughout the day, and perform in live shows in the Peter Rabbit Theatre for visitors to enjoy.
Potato Shindig will be at Willows every day between September 10 to September 25.
