Enjoy a dinosaur adventure and some Jurassic larks in Knebworth Park this Spring May Bank Holiday.
Experience the prehistoric world at Knebworth House on Monday, May 29 with Dino Adventure.
Aspiring palaeontologists and brave explorers can face the trail of 72 life-sized dinosaurs located in the Wilderness Garden.
Exploring the woodland paths, children can learn about the T-Rex, the woolly mammoth and other fascinating prehistoric creatures.
There are information boards throughout the Dinosaur Trail ,and a huge chalk board for creating ‘cave-man drawings’.
Look out for the wind-up sound box to hear the dinosaur roars.
The Dinosaur Trail Sheet is sold in Knebworth’s lovely gift shop and can be bought on the day for £1 (in addition to park and gardens admission).
Adventurers who complete the Knebworth dinosaur trail quiz and find all the dino eggs can claim an exciting reward.
During the day, the Ventura Wildlife Rangers will offer hands-on experiences with reptilian relatives of the dinosaurs, including snakes, lizards and tortoises.
Using specialist tools, they will demonstrate the techniques required to make the greatest finds and will help children hunt for fossils hidden at the Dino-Dig Palaeontological Site.
It promises a great value day out for dinosaur-loving youngsters, as included with the price of entry are the Adventure Playground, Fort Knebworth, the maze, the 250-acre Park, and 28 acres of formal gardens.
Tickets booked online before the day of the event qualify for a 10 per cent discount off the full-price of £9.50 for ages three and above, or £34 for a family ticket/group of four.
Tickets at full price will be available at the gate on the day.
Park and gardens entry is free for season ticket holders and children under three.
House tickets can be purchased at a supplement of £3.50 for adults, £3 for senior citizens / children.

The child that reminds the Knebworth Dinosaur of its name will be rewarded with a family ticket to the very popular Garden Theatre at Knebworth House this summer.
Entries close on June 4.

Garden Theatre will see the return of the multi-award-winning theatre group Illyria on July 13.
In line with the dinosaur theme, they are performing The Lost World, a play based on the story by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.
Join Professor Challenger and his team as they travel to an uncharted plateau in South America where they become involved in tribal warfare between ape-men and indigenous humans, and encounter terrifying dinosaurs previously believed to be extinct.
A range of dinosaur toys and books can be bought from the gift shop, including a miniature version of the new Knebworth Dinosaur.
