A massive free fireworks display will take place in Watford on November 5 for Bonfire Night.

The popular annual Cassiobury Park fireworks will take place on Saturday, November 5, 2016.

Promising a fabulous night of fireworks and Guy Fawkes fun, the free event is organised by Watford Borough Council, with support from the Watford Lions, who arrange the charity collection.

Radio station Vibe 107.6FM will compere the stage.

The entertainment starts at 6pm, with live music on stage from 6.30pm.

The bonfire will be lit at 7pm, with the 19-minute firework display due to begin at 7.30pm.

To keep everyone safe, no sparklers, fireworks or alcohol are allowed in the park.

There will be parking restrictions in place on some surrounding roads to the Watford park from 7am to 11pm on the day.

There will be no parking in Gade Avenue car park on the afternoon of the event until noon the following day.

The best place to park is in any of the public car parks in the town centre.

There is limited car parking available at Fullerians Rugby club, charged at £5 a car.

There are limited disabled car parking facilities on site, available on a first come first served basis. Blue badges must be displayed.
