Not known for its desert, the Northaw Point to Point Course near Potters Bar will once again host camel racing – and much more – on the May Spring bank holiday Monday, May 28.

Held in aid of the Essex and Herts Air Ambulance, gates open at 10am with the fun starting at noon.

As well as camel racing in the Hertfordshire countryside, there will be hound racing, Shetland ponies racing, pony rides, refreshments, a bar, bookies, and a traditional funfair with a big wheel.

The venue is on the B156 road two miles north east of Potters Bar.

Admission costs £10 for adults, and it is free for children under 14.
