As part of a brand new event, residents and visitors to Hertford town centre will be able to watch catwalk shows, lifestyle demonstrations, live music performances and receive special discounts throughout the town.

With a fashion show, demonstrations, exhibitions and mini-treatment tasters you’ll be sure to feel as good as new after this event.

The fashion, beauty and lifestyle event is taking place on Saturday, June 17 and is organised by Hertford Town Council, and kindly sponsored by The Women’s Society Boutique, Nuffield Health and Steven Eagell Toyota.

Beautiful Hertford will give local businesses and performers a platform to showcase themselves, proving that the county town has everything you need, right on your doorstep.

Councillor Jane Sartin, chairman of Hertford Town Council’s development and leisure committee, said: “This new event is a great opportunity to celebrate Hertford’s fashion, beauty and lifestyle businesses, which are an important part of our town centre.”

Parliament Square will house a covered catwalk and performance area, where the festivities will kick off at 10.30am and run throughout the day until 4pm.

There will be 15-minute catwalk shows from a variety of fashion retailers, including The Women’s Society Boutique, Rock Sassy and Kids Connection.

Demonstrations from lifestyle businesses such as Jane Maples Flowers and Fred & Ginger Hair will also take place, plus live performances from a number of local artists.

The programme features a wide range of special offers, tasters and promotions running both in Parliament Square and throughout the town.

There will also be an opportunity to take part in a prize draw to win vouchers and gifts.
