THE latest film trailer for ‘barmageddon’ sci-fi comedy The World’s End can now be watched on YouTube. You can watch it here.

The Blood and Ice Cream Trilogy

Also known as the Three Flavours Cornetto Trilogy

* Shaun of the Dead (2004)

A romantic zombie horror comedy – features a red strawberry flavoured Cornetto.

* Hot Fuzz (2007)

A buddy cop action movie – includes classic original blue Cornetto.

* The World’s End (2013)

The final part of Simon Pegg and Edgar Wright’s Three Flavours Cornetto trilogy – following Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz – was partly filmed in Welwyn Garden City and is due for release in the UK on July 19.

Today (Friday), co-writer Simon Pegg tweeted: “The new trailer for The World’s End is now available on an exciting new Internet website called YouTube!”

You can see the teaser clip above.

The movie stars Pegg as Gary King, who reunites a group of childhood friends to re-attempt a marathon pub crawl to the fabled The World’s End.

However, reaching the 12th and final pub on their list is the least of the gang’s worries.

Pubs in Welwyn Garden City double as drinking holes on the journey along the so-called ‘golden mile’ of Newton Haven, where the film is set.

Hot Fuzz’s Nick Frost, The Hobbit’s Martin Freeman, Paddy Considine, Eddie Marsan and former Bond girl Rosamund Pike also appear in the film.
