The Worlds End is the third and final part of screenwriting partners Simon Pegg and Edgar Wrights Three Flavours Cornetto trilogy, following zombie rom-com smash Shaun of the Dead and buddy cop action comedy Hot Fuzz, which was also partly filmed in Welwyn Garden City and Hatfield.
The movie centres around five childhood friends reuniting 20 years later to re-attempt an epic pub crawl from their youth through their hometown of Newton Haven.
However, things have changed in Newton Haven, with a horde of glowing blue-eyed robots inhabiting the town, in a nod to classic movies Invasion of the Body Snatchers and The Village of the Damned.

As well as Hot Fuzz co-stars Pegg and Wright playing Gary King and former best mate Andy, now a successful lawyer, the film also features The Hobbits Martin Freeman, Paddy Considine and Eddie Marsan as their teenage drinking buddies, and ex-Bond girl Rosamund Pike.
Pubs in Welwyn Garden City were used for the first four stops on the so-called golden mile pub crawl with The Peatree, The Doctors Tonic, The Cork and The Parkway Bar all featuring in the film.
The full trailer also shows scenes filmed in Howardsgate, in WGC town centre, with Peggs character falling over a hedge.
The film will have a 15 age rating in the UK, the same as Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz.
