A huge fireworks display will take place tonight – Wednesday, November 5 – in Stevenage for Bonfire Night 2014.

Stevenage’s free display will be held in Fairlands Valley Park.

It starts from 7.30pm, with spectators advised to arrive in the park early.

There will be parking opposite Stevenage FC’s ground in Broadhall Way.

Members of the public are advised not to take fireworks or sparklers for safety reasons

* Hitchin’s Guy Fawkes Night spectacular will take place at Blueharts Hockey Club in Lucas Lane.

Gates open at 6.45pm, with fireworks set off to music from 8pm.

It costs £7 for adults and £5 for under-14s, with a family ticket for four on offer for £20.
