The skies above Verulamium Park will be ablaze with colour tonight (Saturday) as thousands of people attend the 2014 St Albans Cathedral Fireworks Spectacular.

Organised by the Cathedral and Abbey Church of St Albans in aid of local charities, the main event comprises a spectacular 25-minute firework display with accompanying music at 7.30pm.

Visitors can soak up the atmosphere and enjoy a range of food and drink from 6pm when gates open.

Tickets cost £5 for adults, and £2 per child under-16.

A family ticket for two adults and two children costs £10.

Tickets can be purchased at the box office or booked online and collected from the box office up until 4pm on Saturday, November 1.
