A popular classic cars and vintage day is set to return to Mill Green Museum next week.

A total of 20 classic cars will be on display on Sunday, July 16, including a Singer Gazelle 111c, Mustang Fastback, Riley Falcon Special and Austin Swallow.

There will also be live music by Lianna Haynes, and JiveSwing will entertain visitors with their energetic Lindy Hop demonstrations.

Retail stalls selling everything from vintage dresses to retro sweets and home furnishings will also feature alongside a Pimm’s tent. Some stalls will also be serving locally brewed beer.

The Mill Green cream teas – made using flour produced at the mill - will also be served in the Jubilee Garden throughout the afternoon.

Councillor Tony Kingsbury, executive member for policy and culture, said: “This event has gone from strength to strength every year, with more and more stalls and acts getting involved.

“The event is shaping up to be even bigger and better than the last – the perfect way to spend a Sunday with family and friends.”

It will run from 12pm to 5pm and entry is £4 for adults – which includes entry to the Mill and Museum – and free for children aged 16 and under.
