Street food traders serving up a treat in Welwyn Garden City town centre today
Street food traders will be cooking up a tasty treat in Welwyn Garden City this lunchtime.
Midweek Munch takes place in Howardsgate today (Wednesday, April 18) from 11am to 3pm.
And after April 4’s edition was cancelled due to the dreadful weather and waterlogged grass, organisers are hoping for better luck today.
With the sun set to shine, you can enjoy freshly cooked street food outdoors in the town centre and something to wash it down with whilst listening to some tunes.
Expect epic burgers from Codicote’s Cafe 77, Uncle G’s Gourmet Fried Chicken, handmade Italian-style pizzas from Rustics Woodfired Pizzas, Sukanya Thai food, and authentic South African cuisine from Now Now South African Food Co.
The bar will be provided by The Two Willows pub.
Midweek Munch takes place on the first and third Wednesdays of the month from April to October.
And today’s event will provide a taster for the 2018 Welwyn Garden City World Food Festival, which takes place in the town centre on Saturday, May 12.
