Remember to put your clocks forward an hour tonight before you go to bed.
When exactly do the clocks change?
British Summer Time (BST) will start in the early hours of Sunday, March 25.
Clocks should be put forward 60 minutes at 1am as the UK moves out of Greenwich Mean Time (GMT).
As a result, there’s more daylight in the evenings and less in the mornings – sometimes called Daylight Saving Time.
BST traditionally starts on the final Sunday in March, and ends on the last Sunday in October.
Clocks will go back an hour on Sunday, October 28, 2018.
When the clocks go back, the UK is on Greenwich Mean Time (GMT).
And when do clocks go forward and back next year?
The dates are March 31 and October 27, 2019.
• When the clocks change
• In spring, the clocks go forward, losing an hour – at 1am GMT the UK moves to 2am BST.
• In autumn, the clocks fall back, giving an extra hour – at 2am BST the UK moves to 1am GMT.
