Battle on to get Hatfield House 2015 Proms tickets before Christmas

Tickets for next year’s Battle Proms concert at Hatfield House have gone on sale – with organisers saying early bird discounts make them perfect Christmas gifts.
Battle Proms returns to Hatfield next summer and tickets for the explosive classical concert have gone on sale in time for Christmas.
The hugely popular annual event will take place in the Queen Elizabeth Oak Field, in the leafy parkland at Hatfield House, on Saturday, July 18.
The UK’s premier classical picnic proms features a Spitfire, cannons, cavalry and fireworks – and attracts thousands of Welwyn Hatfield residents each year.
Tickets for 2015 are now available at the early bird price.
Battle Proms 2015 tickets
* £29.50 if booked before January 31, 2015 (online booking only).
* £33 if booked between February 1 and April 30, 2015.
* £36 if booked from May 1 to the day before the concert.
* £40 on the day of concert (subject to availability).
Children aged 5 to 15:
Children aged four and under are free, and do not require a ticket)
* Advance group bookings of 10 or more qualify for a £2 reduction per ticket.
Booking before Christmas means you pay just £29.50, a great saving on the full £40 gate price.
E-tickets mean you can also book right up until Christmas Eve and still have something to put under the tree.
And if your family or friends can’t make the Hatfield House Battle Proms, they can swap their tickets for another Battle Proms venue at no extra cost.
Other 2015 concerts take place at Burghley House, Blenheim Palace, Highclere Castle and Ragley Hall.
Widely regarded as one of the most exciting summer proms concerts in the country, the Battle Proms at Hatfield House is an event that fans return to year after year.
The concert will feature a full orchestral programme of sublime classical music conducted by Douglas Coombes, a carefully choreographed Spitfire aerial display and stunning firework finale.
It will also commemorate the 200th anniversary of the Battle of Waterloo.
