BOOKING is now open for UHArts’ autumn/winter season of events.
From September to January 2013, the University of Hertfordshire’s arts organisation presents an exciting and inspiring range of theatre, music, film, literature and visual arts events across venues in Hatfield and St Albans.
The new season includes a number of must-see highlights, including the controversial visual artists Jake and Dinos Chapman’s exhibition My Giant Colouring Book and celebrated children’s illustrator Tony Ross, of Horrid Henry and Gangsta Granny fame.
Author Cressida Cowell will also discuss the latest instalment of her How to Train Your Dragon series, while the ever-popular family classical concert with illustrator James Mayhew also returns.
On the movie front, there will be The Elstree Film Season, a fantastic opportunity to see some of Elstree Studios’ biggest films and hear how they were made from the people who made them.
See this week’s Welwyn Hatfield Times, out Wednesday, for more on the Elstree movie season.
