TALENTED musician and singer Martin Spooner plays to more than a quarter of a million fans each year.
Despite this, you’d walk past him in the street without a second look – unless perhaps he was wearing his white suit, black shirt and platform boots!
For Martin plays Robin Gibb in tribute band Bee Gees Magic.
He will be performing with the group in the forthcoming The UK’s Original Bee Gees Magic Concert Show and 70s disco at the Wyllyotts Theatre in Potters Bar, tomorrow (Friday).
A show spokesman said: “More than a decade ago Martin set up a Bee Gees tribute band.
“When approached by theatre show producer Michael Taylor to create a stage show featuring the music of both the Bee Gees and Abba, in 1997, Martin embarked on his current career with Bee Gees Magic and Abba Magic as part of the Thank You For The Music stage show.”
He added: “[Since then] Bee Gees Magic is one of the busiest concert shows on the road, averaging more than 150 dates at top venues around the world each year.
“It is renowned as the UK’s number one live Bee Gees tribute performing all the Gibb brothers-penned, million-selling hits.”
Expect to hear classic tracks spanning four decades from Massachusetts to Tragedy to Chain Reaction and You Win Again.
The show also features a 70s disco afterwards until midnight.
It starts at 8pm. Tickets cost £14.
