PAPER - folded, rolled, shaped and coloured - is the focus of a new art display.
Sculptor Ally Wallace is bringing her new exhibition, Jet Blush, to the University of Hertfordshire's art and design gallery in Hatfield this month.
The pieces she has created are the result of 20 years' work, taking in kinetics, painting and minimal light works.
They range from miniscule inventions to monoliths and ceiling hangings.
Ally said: "I like the idea that something can appear really substantial and permanent.
"But it has been made using lightweight means and materials like folded and taped sheets of coloured A4 paper."
Inspirations for the sculptures include photography, architecture, public signage and advertising.
It runs until February 23 at the College Lane campus. Opening times are 9.30am - 5.30pm, Monday to Saturday.
