SIR - Who hid all the shovels?

No refuse collection this week, understandable. No trees or shrubs to work on. No leaves to play with. Have all contract services had the week off with pay?

The condition of the footpath outside shops at Hall Grove has been diabolical all week. Thick packed ice, even the disability ramp. It was the same in town.

Well done, Welwyn Hatfield Council, if you saved a few pounds. Can you save a few pennies on our council tax?

By the time you find your shovels there will be a few broken limbs I expect.
