Hugh Jackman reprises his role as Wolverine in this prequel, set before the events of the original trilogy.
Here, at last, we discover how an ordinary man named Logan was transformed into an indestructible fighting machine equipped with indestructible adamantium claws and a primal fury.
Logan's past is revealed, including his complex relationship with Victor 'Sabretooth' Creed (Liev Schreiber), and how Logan first becomes part of the ominous Weapon X programme.
