Celebrities Emma Bunton, Tom Fletcher and Emma Willis opened World of Dinosaurs at Paradise Wildlife Park in Hertfordshire.

The award-winning Paradise Wildlife Park (the Zoological Society of Hertfordshire / ZSH) launched its fabulous new Jurassic attraction World of Dinosaurs today (Saturday).

It opens to the general public on Sunday, March 25.

At a packed opening ceremony in Broxbourne, McBusted/McFly band member and celebrated children’s author Tom Fletcher, together with his wife, Giovanna, and Big Brother presenter Emma Willis and Spice Girl and DJ Emma Bunton joined in to cut the ribbon and announce the new attraction open.

Celebs, guests and their children explored the 30 extraordinary life-sized animatronic dinosaurs that inhabit World of Dinosaurs, before taking in the rest of Paradise Wildlife Park with its huge range of animals and experiences.

World of Dinosaurs at Paradise is one of the UK’s biggest dinosaur attractions and features 30 moving, snapping, roaring dinosaur models.

From cunning Velociraptors to vast Brachiosaurus, from terrifying Spinosaurus to unpronounceable Pachycephalosaurus, plus of course, a mighty T Rex, they are all here.

There’s also a Dino Dig area, plus lots of other dinosaur-themed treats for all the family.

Visitors can experience a Dinosaur Train ride, the ‘Rex Express’, through the World of Dinosaurs, where every twist and turn reveals a new prehistoric surprise.

Talking about the launch of World of Dinosaurs, Paradise / ZSH director Lynn Whitnall said: “We’re obviously very exited to be welcoming dinosaurs to Paradise!

“As well as all the animals we care for and our wider conservation work, we appreciate the importance of offering a fantastic and entertaining day out for all our visitors.

“World of Dinosaurs isn’t just an amazing thrill for all the senses, it serves as a reminder that, although these amazing creatures are now long extinct, right now, other remarkable animals are facing extinction, largely at the hand of man.

“A visit to the extinct creatures of World of Dinosaurs at Paradise / ZSH will, in a very tangible way, help us save other creatures from the fate of the dinosaurs.”

World of Dinosaurs is now open at Paradise Wildlife Park ready for the Easter holidays and summer season.
