MUSIC extravaganza V Festival 2013 took place over the weekend.

The two-day festival, sponsored by Virgin Media, took place simultaneously at Hylands Park, across the county border in Chelmsford, Essex, and at Weston Park, in Staffordshire, with the line-up switching between the two venues.

The sold-out event featured headline performance by pop diva Beyonce and American rockers Kings of Leon over the weekend.
The V Festival 2013 line-up also included main stage appearances from the likes of The Script, Stereophonics, Two Door Cinema Club, Emeli Sande, Paloma Faith and Olly Murs.
A limited number of tickets for V Festival 2014, which is scheduled for the weekend August 16-17, go on sale on Thursday at 9am.
