Things aren't quite what they used to be for the bumbling French detective, as he spends his days policing traffic violations.
But then valuable artefacts from across the globe start to go missing, including the legendary Pink Panther Diamond.
Much to his chagrin, chief inspector Dreyfus (John Cleese) is forced to assign the inspector with skills as questionable as his accent to the case.
Fortunately, clumsy Clouseau has a team of international detectives and experts at his disposal to help him track down the priceless gem.
