The 10 remaining couples took to the dance floor last night (Saturday) with a trip to the mecca of dance, the Blackpool Tower Ballroom, in their sights.

Jake and professional partner Janette Manrara finished joint second from bottom on the judges’ leaderboard with 27 points for their rumba to Strangers In The Night.

However, the public voted to keep the snake-hipped actor from Tewin, who plays Max Branning in the BBC One soap, in the competition for another week.

TV presenter Caroline and Pasha had scored 31 for their waltz to Three Times a Lady by The Commodores on Saturday night.
