And joining already confirmed main stage headliners Orbital and Clean Bandit are the likes of Editors, Kate Tempest, KT Tunstall, Lindstrøm, Slow Club, Idris Elba, Doc Brown and Slow Club in the second wave of acts.

Luther star Idris Elba will be swapping acting for a DJ set at Standon.

Also on the bill over the weekend are the likes of the previously announced Slaves, Laura Mvula, Gary Numan and British Sea Power.

Of the latest additions, Editors will play on the Sunday night before a “very special” headliner due to be announced next week.

Festival founder and director Alex Trenchard is delighted at the way the 2017 festival is shaping up.

He said: “I believe we’ve created the strongest Standon Calling line-up in the festival’s history with the new additions in this announcement.

“I’m really proud of it and especially excited that Editors, one of my favourite festival acts, will be at Standon and supporting our yet to be announced Sunday night headliner.
