Thousands of music fans converged on Hatfield for the 2015 Slam Dunk Festival at the University of Hertfordshire on Sunday.

The touring pop-punk, ska-punk, rock and metal extravaganza once again took place on the university’s College Lane campus, in and around The Forum Hertfordshire complex.

Here are a selection of pictures by Ed Mason from the various Slam Dunk South stages.

You Me At Six headlined the Main Stage on the University of Hertfordshire’s Hutton Lawn.

The Surrey rockers’ set was interrupted for more than 20 minutes while security and paramedics dealt with a medical emergency in the crowd.

Organisers extended the curfew to allow YMAS to complete their planned set.

The likes of PVRIS, Neck Deep, Lower Than Atlantis, Don Broco and Taking Back Sunday also played the main outdoor arena.

Architects went down a storm on the Monster Stage outside The Forum Hertfordshire in The Piazza by the EleHouse.

The stage also saw performances from Crossfaith, Finch, who were joined by You Me At Six frontman Josh Franceschi, and While She Sleeps.

Transit, Fireworks and Roam were among the bands to play the Macbeth Stage in the road outside The Forum.

The venue’s Refectory hosted sets by Bane, Comeback Kid and The Bronx.

There were also stages in The Forum’s main auditorium and The Attic.

The UK’s largest touring festival also visited Leeds for Slam Dunk North and Wolverhampton for Slam Dunk Midlands over the Bank Holiday weekend.
