A new dance music festival will take place in the Hertfordshire countryside this summer with Faithless headlining.
Back of Beyond is a new and exciting one-day dance music festival coming to the Hertfordshire countryside on Saturday, July 7 from an experienced events company and respected selection of promoters.
The first Back of Beyond Festival will take place in Frogmore Hill.
It is being organised by Dry Events, a new collaboration formed by the team behind the DogHouse, who have put on multiple dance happenings, most notably Dog & Whistle events, and their long-standing promotions and digital partners.
The inaugural Back of Beyond will run from midday to 2am and is set in a beautiful countryside location situated between Watton-at-Stone and Stevenage.
The festival will be headlined by a DJ set from dance royalty Faithless.
The 2018 line-up will also include the likes of Josh Butler, Nick Curly, Sandy Rivera, Audiojack, Altern8, Latmun, Bontan, 2 Bad Mice and many more in a lush green site.
The festival will feature six unique and stunningly designed stages and areas that include a main stage, a woodland stage, a VIP area and much more.
As well as crystal clear sound systems and all sorts of magical production to really help you escape the everyday, there will be plenty of food and drink options and a range of other activities to make this an unforgettable day of dance music in the sun.
Musically the vibe will be house music in all its many different forms, with plenty of jungle, rave and tech sounds also covered.
Headed by a special DJ set from legendary God is a DJ and Insomnia dance act Faithless, there will also be classic and soulful house pioneers like Sandy Rivera from Defected and crossover stars The Shapeshifters.
Next to that, there are plenty of contemporary tech house heroes such as 8Bit label boss and Mannheim man Nick Curly, underground hit maker Josh Butler, Waifs & Stays and Detlef, the recent breakthrough star Latmun, Ibiza-based UK duo Audiojack and Bontan, amongst many others.
As well as that, expect some old school rave sounds from Altern 8, Slipmatt and 2 Bad Mice, dance anthems from Brandon Block and Alex P, jungle from Ray Keith and esteemed veteran Colin Chiddle, as well as much more besides.
