Ceramics, glass, jewellery, sculptures, textiles, photography and paintings are on display in The New Maynard Gallery, at Campus West.

It is a joint exhibition between the gallery and Herts Visual Arts, previewing the forthcoming 25th Herts Open Studios, which takes place in September.

A fantastic crowd of artists and supporters enjoyed the open evening earlier this month, looking at a huge variety of talent from around the county.

“With a few pieces selling before the official opening, it promises to be a huge success,” said Brigitte Trister, temporary chairman of The New Maynard Gallery.

The exhibition can be seen in the Hawthorne Theatre foyer space until Saturday, September 5.

HVAF’s 25th Herts Open Studios event takes place from September 5 until September 27.

During the three-week event, artists from across the county will open their studios to the public to show how and where they work.
