Remember, remember the fifth of November. Gunpowder treason and plot... And where better to celebrate Bonfire Night than at the historic Royal Gunpowder Mills?

Celebrate Bonfire Night 2016 with the Guy Fawkes Festival fireworks display at the Royal Gunpowder Mills, in Waltham Abbey, on Saturday, November 5 and Sunday, November 6.

The historic site, just off the M25 motorway at Junction 26, will come alive with The Guy Fawkes Experience from 2pm onwards.

Events planned include family fun activities for children of all ages, bursts of theatre, 17th century characters, science shows and funfair with rides.

The festival will finish each day with a spectacular fireworks display.

Last entry is 6.30pm, and pre-booking is advised.

The family fun activities start from 2pm, with the fireworks set to explode at 7pm.

Plesse note parking is limited, so visitors are encouraged to arrive early to get a space.

A ticket does not guarantee a parking space.
