A new trailer for a Ridley Scott film partly shot in Hatfield has been released – with Kevin Spacey erased from the completed movie.
Forthcoming thriller All The Money In The World, due for release next month, tells the story of the kidnapping of 16-year-old John Paul Getty III and the desperate attempt by his devoted mother to convince his billionaire grandfather, Jean Paul Getty, to pay the ransom.
House of Cards and The Usual Suspects star Kevin Spacey had finished shooting his scenes as billionaire Getty in the completed, and as yet unreleased, Hollywood blockbuster.
But producers have cut Spacey from the movie following sexual misconduct allegations against the Oscar-winning star.
Veteran actor Christopher Plummer has been recast in the role, and has already reshot scenes featuring J. Paul Getty alongside Mark Wahlberg.
Plummer features in the new trailer for the movie released by Sony Pictures on Wednesday.
Despite the last-minute change of cast, All The Money In The World is due for release on December 22.
Directed by Ridley Scott, and also starring Michelle Williams, scenes of All The Money In The World were filmed in the grounds of Hatfield House.
The stately home – and Spacey – featured prominently in the original trailer for the crime drama released in September, with the historic Hertfordshire mansion doubling as J. Paul Getty’s residence.
The frugal billionaire, then the world’s richest man, died in June 1976 at Tudor manor house Sutton Place, near Guildford, Surrey.

Movies starring Mark Wahlberg and Michelle Williams have previously been shot at Hatfield House.
This summer’s latest Transformers movie, Transformers: The Last Knight, was partly filmed on location in the grounds of the Hertfordshire stately home.
Michelle Williams played Marilyn Monroe alongside Eddie Redmayne, Kenneth Branagh, Judi Dench and Emma Watson in 2011 biographical drama My Week With Marilyn, another movie made in Hatfield, with the Jacobean mansion used for scenes at Windsor Castle.
Hatfield House has also previously been home to Bruce Wayne in Tim Burton’s 1989 Batman movie, and Angelina Jolie’s Lara Croft in Tomb Raider.
The first series of Netflix’s The Crown was also filmed at Hatfield House, as was Tom Hardy’s dark BBC series Taboo.
