Latitude 2014 festival organisers have announced more of the 2014 line-up, including third Obelisk Arena headliner The Black Keys.

Winner of ‘Line-Up of the Year’ at the 2013 UK Festival Awards, Latitude returns for its ninth edition in the stunning grounds of Henham Park, Southwold, from Thursday, July 17 to Sunday, July 20.

The Suffolk arts and music festival’s main stage will be headlined by Two Door Cinema Club, Damon Albarn and The Black Keys over the weekend.

Editors, James, Crystal Fighters, Kelis, The Afghan Whigs and Tinariwen were also confirmed for Latitude 2014 in the latest line-up announcement.

Having played two sold-out shows at the 02 Arena in December 2012, The Black Keys’ first UK festival headline performance will take place at Latitude on the Sunday night. Winners of last year’s BRIT Award for Best International Band and seven times Grammy Award winners, The Black Keys’ most recent album, El Camino, has gone platinum in five countries.

With a sound that veers between traditional blues, psychedelic and garage rock, partnered with an explosive and honest live performance, The Black Keys will close Latitude 2014 in style.

Joining Latitude’s main stage bill on the Friday night are brooding indie rockers Editors, returning at the request of the festival’s audience.

Returning to the Obelisk Arena will be Britpop legends James, a Latitude favourite.

James frontman Tim Booth said: “We love playing Latitude because it embraces creativity in all its many faces; not just a dole queue of bands.

“This raises it above the corporate norm into the realm of something more magical. May the sun shine down on us all.”

Moving up from headlining the iArena, Crystal Fighters bring back their mesmeric fusion of progressive dance, folktronica and rave.

Genre-defying singer Kelis will debut soulful new tunes from her upcoming album Food, in a performance with her new live band.

Latitude is honoured to have an exclusive UK festival performance from The Afghan Whigs.

Among the other new additions, Scottish guitar maestros Mogwai and Swedish singer-songwriter Lykke Li will both headline the BBC Radio 6 Music Stage, with chart-toppers Clean Bandits, Temples and George Ezra also appearing.

The iArena will feature the likes of Tom Vek, Teen, Hiss Golden Messenger, Ry X, John Wizards, Dawes, The Acid and Mighty Oaks.

The festival’s first comedy headliner has also been announced as Dara O’Briain, with fellow stand-ups Al Murray’s Saloon Show, Milton Jones, Josh Widdicombe, Miles Jupp, Tommy Tiernan, Henning Wehn and Seann Walsh also appearing.

The latest names join exclusive music headline performances from Blur singer Damon Albarn, with a career spanning set, and Two Door Cinema Club, making their first festival headline appearance.

Norwegian electronic duo Röyksopp and Swedish indie-pop pioneer Robyn perform in a joint-appearance as part of their Do It Again 2014 tour, the only opportunity in the UK to see the tour.

Billy Bragg and his band will be stopping off at Latitude for a UK festival exclusive performance, as will colourful and psychedelic experimental Swedish band Goat.

Psychedelic hypno-groove rockers Tame Impala make their long-awaited appearance at Latitude for an exclusive UK festival appearance, as do Daryl Hall & John Oates, fresh from their induction into the Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Fame.
