City battled hard against their second-placed rivals East Herts in a nail-biting match on Sunday.

Scoring 10 minutes into the first half, East Herts put the pressure on the Citizens.

Welwyn kept up the pace and were rewarded when Ross Evans netted a tremendous equaliser.
