WHEELERS riders hit top form in the weekly Welwyn Track League at Gosling Sports Park.

Four of the club's youth riders were recently promoted to ride in the Senior B series and showed exactly why at the WGC stadium.

Dan Snow timed his finishing burst to perfection in the 10 lap senior handicap.

He was victorious by a bike length from Ian Bibby of Finsbury Park.

Dan's clubmates Tom Gallacher and Mark Smith filled the next two places.

Gallacher and Snow finished in second and third spot in the Group B elimination race behind Brian Evans of Agiskoviner.

The second of the Group B elimination races saw Wheelers' senior rider Tim Chandler claim third place.

Once more the series of youth races were dominated by the home club's high performing riders.

Dan Smith had two wins in the Youth AB category.

Chloe Evans won the Youth C opening three lap scratch from club colleagues Bethany Hayward and William Street and went on to win the final four lap handicap from 22 riders.

As the riders came into the final straight, six riders were in with a chance.

However, Chloe accelerated away to take the win from fellow Welwyn riders Max Chambers, Bethany Hayward and Archie Wishart.
