CYCLIST and Welwyn Wheeler Dan Snow completed an omnium event on Sunday.

The competition, a combination of five different track races, was held at the Herne Hill track in South London.

Instead of competing in the youth event, Snow tried his luck against the senior riders.

He finished fourth and on the way won the elimination race.

There was also success for the senior riders in the local 10 mile time trial on the A10.

It was a tough course but the three fastest Welwyn Wheelers - Andrew Brown, James Johnson and Tim Chandler - took the team prize for the lowest aggregate time over three riders.

Alex Peeke, only one second behind Tim, took the prize for the most improved time.
