WGC top the table unbeaten

WGC'S men have finished the Shamrock League season unbeaten.

After playing the final round of games for the season, WGC retained the league championship without losing a game and only dropping one point with a drawn match.

They finished their Hertfordshire County Darts Organisation campaign with an emphatic 17-3 win over strugglers Enfield on Monday.

In the closest finish for years for second position, London Colney gained the runners-up position by defeating Berkhamsted 14-6.

Sawbridgeworth also leapfrogged Berkhamsted into third place with their 12-8 win at St Albans.

Berkhamsted eventually finished in fourth position.

Hatfield climbed into sixth spot following their final 14-6 win over Hoddesdon B.

Hoddesdon topped the Shamrock Ladies' League ahead of WGC's women in second spot.

WGC beat St Albans 6-2 in their final match, while Hoddesdon were winners by the same margin over fourth-placed Welwyn.

Shamrock Ladies' League

Welwyn 2 Hoddesdon 6; Welwyn Garden City 6 St Albans 2.
