WGC ladies spring into action

MORE than 60 ladies took part in the spring meeting at WGC Golf Club, showing just how far women's golf is developing at the Mannicotts club.

Judith Moore was the Silver Division winner with 36 points.

The Bronze Division was won by Jo Oliver, also with 36 points.

However, the star of the day was Copper Division winner Cathy Vandermotten with 38 points.

The prizes for the winners were presented by WGC lady captain Julie Dyke.

Jo Oliver was also announced as the Winter Knock-Out winner and the runner-up was Joyce Duff.

The Silver Medal winner for the three best medal cards in 2007 was presented to Sarah Collie and the Bronze Medal winner was Carol Pankhurst.
