The three-stage race was split across a number of age categories with the Wheelers took the overall honours in the U14 and U16 races through Euan Woodliffe and Oli Stockwell.

The tour started with a time-trial with Woodliffe and Stockwell fourth and second respectively.

A flat circuit formed stage two and Woodliffe overcame a crash on the final bend to sprint to second and leave him second overall.

Mechanical problems kept Stockwell in the pack along with team-mates Joe Kiely and Archie Peet, leaving him fifth going into the final hilly stage.

Woodliffe’s win in the U14 race, ahead of Caelen Miller, secured him the overall win and gave Welwyn the team prize.

Stockwell dominated the U16 race and his stage win and time bonuses gave him the overall yellow jersey.
