Welwyn Garden City’s Jamie George has been included in England’s 34-man squad for the upcoming RBS Six Nations.

The Saracens hooker, who has amassed 12 international caps, is one of 20 forwards picked by Australian head coach Eddie Jones ahead of the 2016 grand slam winners’ defence of the trophy.

George has been in Jones’ plans since he took charge in November 2015, frequently featuring during 2016, a year that England notched 13 straight victories across the Six Nations, summer tour to Australia and home Autumn internationals.

Thus, the Twickenham side are in the midst of a 14-match winning streak, equalling England’s successful spell recorded by the 2003 World Cup winning team under Sir Clive Woodward.

England begin their Six Nations campaign against France at Twickenham on February 4. Kick-off is 4.50pm.
