WGC 2nds hauled themselves clear of the relegation zone with a comfortable seven-wicket victory over strugglers Old Albanian on Saturday.
Simon Bridgewater and Chris Stainsby took three wickets apiece as WGC skittled their opponents from St Albans for 101.
It was then the turn of Matt Hill to take centre stage with the bat and his unbeaten 49 guided WGC to maximum Saracens Herts League Division Two points.
Rain delayed the start of the match by 30 minutes but WGC didn't waste much time racing to a most welcome win after a difficult season.
Stainsby, who finished with figures of 3-30 from 11 overs, removed both openers in his third over to leave the visitors to Digswell Park struggling at 18-2 on a good wicket.
Ed Tucker claimed a wicket in his second over and spinners Ben Frazer and Bridgewater got one each in their opening overs as the Albanian innings crumbled.
Half the side were out for just 55 and with the last three falling for almost no runs, the final total just crept into three figures. Bridgewater finished with 3-22 from six and a bit overs, while Frazer snapped up 2-17 from nine and Tucker 1-15 from seven.
WGC's reply didn't start that well with Tucker going first ball.
Dan Beynon scored an elegant 23 as he and Matt Hill steadied things against some wild fast bowling.
A couple more wickets were lost but Hill's 49 not out saw WGC to 102-3 in just 16.5 overs.
