Alison Waters will be defending her title at the British National Squash Championships in Manchester at the National Squash Centre this week.
Waters, the world number five from Welwyn Garden City, won the crown for the fourth time last year and begins her defence tomorrow (Thursday) against a yet to be confirmed qualifier.
The 30-year-old Commonwealth Games silver and bronze medal winner is the second seed, with Laura Massaro number one.
The pair, who between them have won the competition the last five years, are in different sides of the draw so could meet in Sunday’s final.
