Two weeks into the Macron Welwyn Hatfield Sunday Football League season sees The Rosey top the table with two wins from two.

Having beaten Hatfield Mosquito 4-2 on the opening day, The Rosey continued their winning run by defeating Bradmore Rovers 5-1 at the weekend.

Mitchell Harrison hit a second half hat-trick for Rovers with Shaun White and Ackord Landon also on target.

Bradmore’s goal came from Ennis Daly.

Elswhere on the division, Hatfield Mosquito and Hatfield Seniors clash began with a minute’s silence for Senior’s former chairman Alan Lancaster who sadly passed away earlier this year.

Seniors went 2-0 up in the first half with an own goal and an effort for Curtis Warner.

In the second half, Seniors got one more from Gregor Mackintosh.

Cameron Oakaby-Wright pulled one back for Hatfield Mosquito, but there was to be no fightback.

Shortly after Hatfield Seniors scored again to run out 4-1 winners.

Ten goals were shared by The Cock and Shamrock Rovers in a 5-5 draw.

Goals from The Cock came from Ben Cartwright, Chris Weeks and a treble for Bradley Walsh.

Leigh Nymn scored one for Rovers, while Ben Smith and Mark Draper got two each in what was an exciting game with some good football on show from both sides.

Sun Inn Lemsford secured a 4-1 triumph over Welwyn Campus.

Goals for Sun Inn came from Ross Davidson, Dan Zienkowicz, Tatenda Makoni and Stef Saywell.

Campus managed to get a consolation goal from Marc Arnott, however, both teams displayed some great football and sportsmanship.

The highest scoring game of the day was the encounter between Fairway Tavern and Hatfield Cricket Club.

The Tavern dominated the game with a 10-2 win over Hatfield Cricket Club.

There was a goal for each for stand in goalkeeper Savas Caliskan, after he took a turn out on pitch, James Chang and Marvin Brooks.

Alex Macdonald and Luke Webster both got two each whicle there was a hat-trick for Josh Wake.

Hatfield Cricket Club’s efforts came from Stephen Dorer and Joe Bigley.

Flying the flag for the league in the Herts Sunday Junior Cup were Shamrock Rovers Reserves who thumped Cheshunt Town 1sts 6-1.

With a squad of just 12 players, Rovers progressed with goals for Harry Budge (two), Maz Taylor (two), Callum Wickham and Jack Budge.
