Alison Waters has climbed up the World Squash rankings to a career equalling best of number three.
The 31-year-old, who lives in WGC and was crowned Welwyn Hatfield Sports Person of the Year in February, was world number five at the turn of the year, however following a fine 2014 she has moved up two places in the latest list announced last week.
A delighted Waters Tweeted: “Back up to my highest ranking of World Number 3!! Boom!!”
Malaysia’s Nicol David remains on top of the list with Egypt’s Raneem El Welily number two, behind Waters in fourth spot is fellow Englishwoman Laura Massaro.
Waters won silver and bronze at last year’s Commonwealth Games.
