BRITISH Olympic hopeful Ben Swain has claimed another international diving medal.

Former WGC schoolboy Swain and diving partner Nick Robinson-Baker continued their impressive results on the road to Beijing with a silver medal at the final stage of the FINA World Diving Series in China.

The City of Sheffield-based divers bettered the bronze they claimed in the men's 3m synchro at the British leg of the series at Ponds Forge last week with an increased score that saw them take the silver.

Chinese pair Feng Wang and Kai Qin scored 471.75 to win gold in Nanjing.

Swain, a former pupil at Monk's Walk School and ex-Beaumont Diving Academy star, and Robinson-Baker scored 431.79 for second spot on the podium.

Russians Yuriy Kunakov and Dmitry Sautin took the bronze in 424.53.
