WORLD Cup winner Joe Worsley completes a hat-trick of former Welwyn players on international duty with England this season.

While Steve Bates and Simon Hardy form two-thirds of the England Saxons coaching team, Wasps flanker Worsley will be trying to add to his 65 caps for England in the senior Six Nations.

Since joining Wasps from Welwyn at 16, Worsley has played in three Rugby World Cups, having made his Test debut in the 1999 pool match against Tonga at Twickenham.

A member of the 2003 RWC winning squad, Worsley came on as a replacement in last year's final against South Africa in Paris.

With Lawrence Dallaglio and Simon Corry now retired from the international arena, Worsley is the most experienced back row in Brian Ashton's England squad.
