Welwyn all set to travel to league leaders Harrow

Welwyn Rugby Club hope to return to first team action on Saturday away to London 3 North West Harrow after having consecutive games called off.

The league visit of Finchley to Hobbs Way on Saturday was cancelled due to a waterlogged pitch.

It had been the same story the weekend before when the Herts Presidents’ Tankard tie with Fullerians, also at Hobbs Way, fell to the same fate.

Welwyn will face a stern test at Harrow who top the table with 13 wins from 14 games so far this season.

Their only defeat came last time out on January 25 as they were beaten 15-14 at home to Wasps.

It will be the first encounter between the two this term.
