OFFICIALS have now ruled that Welwyn Warriors U18 girls will not be penalised for missing their league game with Wimborne.

The Hobbs Way side could not fulfil the original league fixture as they were competing in a National Cup competition.

It had been feared that the points from the game would be given to the Dorset club.

However, it has been discovered that RFUW rules state that National Cup competitions take precedence over any local league fixtures.

Attempts will be made to rearrange the game.

If that is not possible, it will be void and no points at all awarded.
