WELWYN Rugby Club's Under-15s scooped the Herts County Plate on Sunday after beating Bishop's Stortford 32-10 in the final.

After seeing off Watford, Cheshunt and Datchworth to reach the climax of the competition, the Hobbs Way team did not disappoint.

It was clear from the start Welwyn were not in the mood to lose.

The teenagers put together a demonstration of total rugby.

This was largely orchestrated by captain Tom Attfield and fly-half Dan Watt, who kicked superbly to keep the scoreboard ticking over.
